hi, i have a 1996 sl 320 and my keyless entry gizsmo is broken. what i would like to do is to bypass the alarm system. i have disconected the basttery for about a half hour and the battery is fully charged. when i put the key in the lights on the rear view mirrow start flashing but the engine won't start.

does anyone know how to bypass the keyless entry button?
