1999 Sl600 top creaks how do you lube?
The top works but when it at the highest point is creaks pretty bad and studders a few times till its past that point. Before I just wd-40 (haha) the joints is there a proper lubricant to use on the joints? Is this a common issue with a common fix?

I used a silicone white paste on all the joints as the lubricant ( also use on bikes ). I have also cleaned the rub zones with WD-40. I have not had it stop or shudder in its motion, however.
