SL/R129: Panorama Top - What Is It Like To Own?

I am starting to look around for a '97 R129 SL500, and while I like the idea of the Panorama top I would like to ask those who actually have one some questions:
- What is it like to live with on a day-to-day basis? Are there any things I need to be aware of?
- Does it let in much heat from the sun - do you tend to get cooked on sunny days?
I live in Texas where there is a lot of sun so I would really like to know more about living with a Panorama top before I go out and try to buy a car with one.
Thanks in advance.
Oh, and if you have a nice '97 R129 SL500 for sale I would be interested in hearing from you. No red or black cars please, cream interior preferred.
I just got one and I love it...It has a sunshade in it and if it is hot then I blast the ac. I don't plan on keeping it on in the summer but I have it on now as moving house and no storage. I got it for the winter. They are hard to find though. I plan on rigging up a hoist in my garage for easy on/off.
I also get a lot of comments on how nice it makes the car look. I don't think you really get much effect from it as you have to look up and back to realize you have a glass roof.
My 2 cents worth.
