SL/R129: 1999 sl500 center vent not working

1999 sl500 center vent not working
I have read previous threads that a cause for the front center vents not to blow any air maybe the vaccum lines. can anyone tell me where I can find the vaccum lines to check to see if one is loose or broken

thanks for your reply....sorry for the delay. yes they worked up until 1 month ago...checked for a seperate fuse could not find one...read that vaccum lines could be the problem....any info would greatly be appreciated

once you remove the console cover ( there are U tube videos ) you can slide the HVAC control box. The electrical connector once unplugged will let you remove the unit from the stack and the vac hoses are behind the vents, radio and sun glass case. I have found cracked multi hose blocks, split hoses and connectors and open ended hose.
Since the vac tube system is lots of places I ended up exploring doors, trunk, engine firewall area et al, but when you find the open/broken part so many other issues melt away!!
