SL/R129: Speakers for Front door

Speakers for Front door
I noticed drvs woofer not working in my SL500 and I tested and it is the speaker. Does anyone know of an off the shelf replacement that I can buy? I just want to replace with something comparable, no cutting/welding gluing. I can't find any post that suggests a replacement.

idk but i would assume if you want a OEM replacement the dealer would be a good option for plug and play.
if not go to the dealer and get a part number at least and use that to get an aftermarket replacement that would plug and play on one of the internet sites....
i honestly dont know if the internet sites carry speakers however because i dont have any speakers in my car and dont listen to music or use internet parts but i would assume they would have a replacement....
as far as sound quality the stock speakers are really bad though... if you dont want to hack your own wiring consider paying someone to do it... (as long as you dont have the bose system) an aftermarket speaker will make a major difference and probably be worth your trouble.

oh nevermind i just remembered i gave lowes guy my old speakers the other day pm him (it came off a 1992 500SL) but if the part numbers match that would be a good option. if you pay shipping ill tell him to send it for free and cover whatever he would have made on the sale out of my own pocket...
