New member from Oregon
Thought I'd introduce myself. I live in Woodburn which is north of Salem. I bought a 1992 500SL with 65K miles on Saturday. I owned a '94 320E coupe that I used as a trade. My new toy is white with grey interior. I need to get a second ignition key made as only one (with remote) was supplied. The car has all the manuals, but I haven't found the tool kit yet.
A question; two interior lights need bulbs - a reading light next to the interior rear view mirror and another in the left door kick panel. Need to know how to remove the lenses. Btw, what bulb type do they use?
Anyway, a real pretty car that's fun to drive. Hope to get some good tips from the more knowledgeable members here.

You need to get the second key from your local dealer. You will have to show proof of ownership when you pick up the key, or when you order it. Fortunately, you have a dealer nearby.
The map light lenses in the dome light assembly swivel out. Push on one end, and the lens will start popping out.
