SL600 Engine Failed to start
I had my sl600 in the garage for the last 2 month waiting for the kick down relay and gearbox wiring interconnector sleeve to arrive. At over 40000km registered, the car was superb to drive until the it turns limp mode after a while whether under light or heavy accelerations...
I have a "No kick-down output signal error" reads on my diagnostic machine - which I conclude to replace both the kick down switch and the kick down relay including the inter-connector (ferrule) for the transmission wiring. While waiting for the parts to arrive I put the car in my garage and did not start the car for 2 month - until last night and it failed to start!!!
I have checked;
1) There is fuel in the tank
2) there is sparks at all spark pugs.
3) No error in registered in my diagnostic machine.
Please advise. thank you
