SL 600 Technical Info. Search
Hello SL members. I am the proud owner of an 01 CLK55 and I am in the market for an R129 style SL 600. Is there anywhere on the web I can go to find technical specs. for the various model years? Specifically, I would like to know if MB changed the transmission and rear diff. ratios along the way. I know the V12 engine remained primarily unchanged throughout most of the production years (389 hp).
Finally, I saw an SL 600 ///AMG for sale on eBay a while back that actually had AMG badges on the decklid, etc. I know MB offered a "cosmetic" AMG package for the R129 SL 600, but did this package include engine and suspension upgrades as well?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
