it has been a awhile! Welcome back and I'm so dated about sound system I may not be valid as a source. I went with Crutchfield. While the adapter said Rover, it worked well.
The "pop out screen" is too low and distracting so I am not a fan but the new systems that come up out of the dash and are at eye level may be a winner, but not certain if Acura,s system can be put in the phone keypad area.
I had Radioman in CA rebuild the bose amp system and that was the best improvement for the entire audio system. The speakers were cracklily and static at times. That noise progressed to a hum then no sound from one or several speakers.
I would buy a single DIN head unit with bluetooth and XM. In Kansas the HD radio is not a factor but maybe for FL. I have kept all the becker stuff for the next owner or restoration if I get to it!

Basically it just has to fit in the hole with stereo speaker outputs of 10-20 watts (RMS real watts, not car stereo "watts") or so. The inputs to the BOSE amplifier are designed for speaker level signals--if you attempt to drive it from a head unit's line level outputs they will need to be 10 V or better.
Having an antenna control signal is essential as it is used to wake-up the BOSE amp and the CD-changer, not just signal the antenna to run up/down ...

Thanks for the info. I just had a relapse so sorry it took so long to answer. I would gladly trade everything I own for a new set of lungs.
