Vacuum is not connected to that lock?
Look for yellow (?? ) plastic tube. the plastic connectors get brittle with age and when mis handled the break or crack.
Are all the other parts of the central locking system working? gas filler door, trunk, eyeglass cell phone dash door, map door pockets center console, door locks.
Are other vac supported systems working? HVAC and air vent system.
If this car is new to you lots of things break with age! fun to search out and repair but lots of step by step work!
