Ok folks 1st silly Q. 97 500sl r129
I figure after sitting so long it's time for a real tune up.
BoshF8dc4 plug, Yes ?
I have the firing order @ 15426378 is this right?
What is the cylinder order?
I was told not to use Plat. Plugs Is this a rule of thumb or a good reason?

This will help:
The engine was designed (combustion chamber shape, swirl paths, etc.) to use conventional plugs. It is quite likely modern single platinum fine wire plugs would work as well, however they are not what the engineers had in mind...
