Pics of Bose system
Ive got a 91' 129 with the plain 6 speaker system, Ive upgraded the stock speakers and installed a 4 channel amplifier and 8" subwoofer underneath a custom carpeted cover in place of the storage compartment behind the front seats. Everything is hidden and looks totally stock.
Im just kinda curious what the Bose sound system looks like. Anyone got pics? specially at the "back seat" of the car. Would like to see how Bose fitted a sub and extra speakers.

well, really, there's not much to see. basically, there are two small speaker grilles at the back corners toward the bottom and the sub is fitted behind the driver's seat with two port holes facing the front about 2 inches each in diameter. it's a custom sub for that space and boy does it pump out the bass. i've never seen any pics, but i'm sure someone could snap one of the back for you.

We bought in Dec/02.
For the first 4 months, I was sure that the 99 SL sterio was inferior to my 98 sound system.
Then we took the top off in the spring, bought the CD Madona - American Life ... got to playing the system louder, and WOW!
What a great system the 9 speaker Bose is!
Great separation, excellent bass from the sub woofer. You just have to turn up the volume to get a better appreciation for the capability of the system.
