Advice needed changing spark plugs

My 2000 SL500 has the original sparking plugs. So after 16 years and 36,000 miles, what, if any, trouble will I have in changing out all 16 spark plugs?

you shouldn't have any trouble. All plugs are easy to get to. Check plug gaps, even though all 16 of mine were spot on right out of the boxes, a touch of anti-seize to make the job easier next time, and you should be good to go. An easy task - that you have to do 16 times. I replaced plug wires too - but my car had 100k miles.

Many thanks for the insight. I may change the wires too now that you mention it.
