'09 S600, (2) R129 300SLs, '03 SL500, '03 SL55
I believe unquestionably '90-'95 are compatible. All other years may be fully compatible as well or be compatible with simple mechanical or electrical modifications.

I agree that 90-95 SL seats will probably fit. Does anyone know if seats from other models fit in the SL?

The seats for R129 are all about the same, except....
The shape and mount system are compatible however...
The sewing pattern, color shades, and panel shapes changed in the mid 90's
the electronic parts catalogue ( EPC ) would sort all that out for you
