Burning smell after ext temp lost
my body shop did not reinstall the external temp sensor after removing my bumper. It dragged on the ground and the wires broke. Immediately after I smelled a burning smell twice, I noticed my temp indicator read -36 F which I knew meant the wires broke. Any idea what would have made the smell, I drove for about an hour like that.
