GAHH vs. Diamondmall etc.

Hi!

I've done some searching on this subject but haven't quite found what I'm looking for so I'll give it a shot in a new thread.

I'm looking at replacing both seat covers and soft top on my 1998 SL500 and I'm kind of puzzled as to which supplier I should buy from. Does anyone have any input around the quality/fit of GAHH seat covers etc. and corresponding items from say Diamondmall (ebay seller)? Seeing that GAHH charges almost twice as much for their products, can I expect them to be of a lot higher quality or is there anything else to this equation that I'm missing?

Thanks a lot for your help, kind of a bit sugery to the car so I would really like to get it right.

/Anton

Purchased from GAHH top, full for a 500 sl and in the 600 R 129 rear window panel. Good service and quality, a independent shop installed both.
I have not used any pre fabricated leather for 40 years, found a shop with supervision gave much better results but that was with repair not full replacement.
Hope you get additional comments

I purchased mine from GAHH and it's quite nice. Like you, I did the soft top and the hides. Great quality and the customer service at GAHH is outstanding.

Puchased softtop from DiamondMall and did not fit. Used professional installer, but he was unable to install. Of course. DiamondMall wont let me return it. Bought another one from GAHH and it fit perfectly. Never again DiamondMall on ebay.

I just bought some covers in MB-Tex from Diamondmall and the material doesn't look to me like the MB-Tex I had in my 95 C280, which is why I picked MB-Tex. Mine is a driver so wasn't too worried about a pristine match. Next up is installation so I'll have a better opinion when that is finished.
