1994 Sl500 dash cluster

Can parts be swapped from one dash cluster to another? Circuit board,tack fuel gauge ect.
And if so does milage go with circuit board ?

Dash cluster

Yes I did swaps and found a circuit trace on back of board repairs it with solder and now I have dash lights.So I'm good.

1994 sl500 a/c

Now I'm having problems with A/C my system has charge bit when I set temp to 65 and its around 90 degrees out it doesn't kick in is there a way to test it or bypass the switch to see if it works

Dassh lights

Well I had dash lights on for about an hour then blew circuit again.any ideas what could cause this?

At the dryer there are two pressure switches. I would check to see if the low-pressure switch (black) is closed. Also, I think you should consider starting a new thread if you seek further assistance.

"Blew circuit" -- the traces on the cluster circuit board are burned? If so, then I would suppose there is an external wiring or component issue that is drawing too much current from the cluster's lighting circuit.

Circuit tracers dash cluster

Thanks for info.I switched the circuit boards out with another on used dashlifhts work fine on that one and don't blow out.I would keep it installed but the speedo and registers one hundred mph when going 30 lol so either I have no dash lights or fast speedo..I switched speedos and still the same so I will stick with the no dash lights for now till figure it out
