which SLdo i choose..
hi , im new in the SL's....
I am planning on buying an R129 SL built before 1993 in the next weeks (oldtimerstatus in my country: Belgium)
but I am doubting about the engine to choose! I am looking for the SL with the least issues at later age... the car will become a 'sunday cruiser in summer only'
can anyone gimme some advice on making my choice , and maybe the impor tant (pricy) problems to look at when buying a second hand SL...
tnx in advance for your advice

Cost to insure and register?
Years ago, while living in Germany, I was told the issue was car age, engine size and driving status.
You pay more in taxes for older, big engine, regular driver vehicles.
While some of those issues are "work-a-rounds" in the the states, I still think engine size is less of a locomotion think that ego and engine displacement!
