A plastic seal of a fuel additive fell into my gas tank. Any advise would be highly appreciated. SL 500. 2004

should not cause a problem as the fuel pick up has a fine filter on it.It could ,but not likely,get tangled in the float,you could let the level go down to reserve and remove sender unit and fish around.I would not worry
