SL/R129: 1990 300SL Front Bumper Kit/Refab

1990 300SL Front Bumper Kit/Refab
New here. I'm looking to replace my front bumper on my 1990 300SL. Had no idea it'd be this hard to find offers/reliable resources, especially on this site. I saw ads through Google for Automotix and BodyKits and found so many complaints about them over the years posted online. I saw Extreme Dimensions posted somewhere on this forum. I think they were a B- on the Better Business Bureau website and saw a few complaints but no where near (elsewhere on google searches) what Automotix and BodyKits had.
Would any of you recommend Extreme Dimensions or other worthwhile options I should look into regarding purchase/refab?
As you may can tell from the photo below, it's the previous owner's hack of the mesh and lower 3 inches that i need fixed (i.e. not any structural damage/not that bad?).
Some kids on the roof of my Apt. building knocked over 5 gallons of paint. I got most of the paint off, but below the mesh the hack job performed was with fiberglass, i think, and it's cracked and porous enough that there was no getting much of the paint off there. Apt. management is liable for the expense.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Yeah, i'm ok with that. Thanks. and, i don't know if that was the 'correct' one but i've never suspected otherwise. previous owner had 15 other cars he collected as a hobbyist and took care of them well. i bought his wife's car, lol.

Yes, there were several versions of the SL front bumper covers....I really like the early one from 89-91'. The car in the picture definitely does not have the early cover. They are pretty easy to swap out though after you done it once.
They are on eBay all the time, where are you at? Potomac German Auto Salvage in Frederick, Maryland I bet has one.
