shifter!
Can anyone help me? I'd like to remove my gear shifter handle so I can get my console wrapped. Anyone?!

Thanks,I just watched that video and that car is older. My shifter knob comes off but the shaft doesn't. There's a chrome [silver] collar at the base of the knob, it turns and releases the knob. The shaft doesn't remove any longer.
