Engine Tuning
I've seen this topic pop up every now and then and maybe a decade ago there was more support for these cars, but wondering if anyone knows any good shops to get my car tuned. I plan on doing some work to the intake and exhaust side and I've heard that MB left some power on the table due to cat longevity among other things. I've been looking around and found Petrolwerks in Long Island and Rankin Automotive in Canada, but neither seemed to have much experience tuning these cars. Especially the V12 like mine. Someone said the m120 is similar for tuning as the c300, but I'm not sure that makes any sense. Anyways, sorry to try to revive a dead and often discussed topic, but looking for any good shops to look up.

My experience with a 600 chip replacement was expensive, made little difference and never got the dream.
My trusted shop worked with shift points, and fuel Oxygen ratios got minor fuel savings, but not twice the horse power attributed to the "Nuernburg ring" chips. I ordered the chips from Germany ( not MB! ) and liberated about $3K. They fit into the system but did not change the dnyo reading. After this ego trip my wiring harness started acting up, so after another $9K( the eco harness problem was not caused by any work, only faulty philosophy ) I have my original chips back in and gifted the special junk to a tech college auto department.
Good luck with your dream
