Last week I washed it like a thousand times before,exterior.When I went to start it plenty of power turned over but would not start,even with starting fluid it would not start .I replaced the crank sensor still wont start.I had it towed to a trusted repair shop I thought,They determined the crank sensor was bad so they replaced it total was 120.00 paid.A block away it cut off.Back to repair shop they kept it overnight the next day .Late that day it was ready after paying 295.00 dollars more.They assured me things were fixed.Driving away 2 blocks it cut off again seemed power loss elec. it would start so I limped home.I made an effort to go back to repair shop to express my problem.They would make no effort to resolve this or the charges.So what I face now is any attempt to accelerate the car misses and will cut off.I sure could use some help to resolve this issue and greatly appreciate any help.After beliving the repair shop I decied to do the job myself purchased a bosch sensor same as oem execellent quality.Installed in 10 minutes CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCouldnot believe .Problem Solved.Edwards automotive in summerville s.c. charged over 400.00 to lie to me.So Beware CROOKS never prosper.So you have been warned

i am having this same problem replaced crank sensor car runs now hit the go fast button and it dies throws the crank sensor code!!! CAN THE BOTH OF US GET SOME DIRECTION PLESE!!!

Can the engine immediately be re-started? What year vehicle?

yes,but be sure sensor has to be oem quality.

That's good to know. I would have presumed quality was uniform between different brands.
