Auxiliary Cooling Fans Will NOT Shut Off When the Car is Turned Off
All of a sudden yesterday the auxiliary cooling fans will not turn off when the car is turned off. 1996 SL320. The only way I’m able to get them off is by disconnecting the battery. Does anybody have any insight into this or any wiring diagrams for the cooling fans?
Any help would be appreciated.

If the green refrigerant high-pressure switch closes, the fans will run even if the ignition is switched off. The switch is attached to the receiver-dryer in the left-front engine compartment. Try unplugging the switch.
