SL/R129: 1997 320 SL Fuel Injectors Not Firing

1997 320 SL Fuel Injectors Not Firing
US 1997 320 SL
After replacing bad fuel pump with filter and installing a new battery the engine cranks but wont fire. I have normal pressure at fuel rail. Engine runs on starting fluid spray to air intake. Only code is Cam Position Sensor; sensor replaced twice, wiring from sensor to computer tested good.
Additional Data:
Every fuse under hood and in trunk tested ok
All computer connections look fine and have been reseated.
Crank Shaft position sensor tested ok
Locking and Alarm systems work ok and I have done the steering wheel up/down dance.
I am a long time lurker but first time poster as i am at wits end.
I am NOT a mechanic. I got this far reading forums and have a neighbor who does racing engines help me.

Thanks bobterry. I think the base module you referenced is what I’m calling the computer (under hood under passenger side window). All the fuses in that compartment are fine.
