1991 300SL, 2000 W208 convertible
alternator
Do I need the expensive alternator is the cheap(er) one? Its a 91 300SL with 120k

'09 S600, (2) R129 300SLs, '03 SL500, '03 SL55
With no information to go on, I'll hazard a guess you need neither alternator. You need a voltage regulator. At any rate, I can't advise which regulator to buy, since I have no idea which two you are looking at.
