Need help, horse killed window.
So im getting in my 97 sl and right as i open the drivers door my 1 year old belgian runs smack into the door and caused it to open extra wide. When i tried to shut the door i had to lift to get it to latch but as i tried to shut it i noticed the window was tweaked and crooked. The front of the window was pushed down farther than the rear. It rolled down fine and rolls up fine but only half way. I felt the regulator and nothing feels bent but window stops like power is cut right at halfway. I feel like if it was bent you would still hear or see some type of activity when the window stops halfway but nothing. When i close the door, it still does the 1/4inch rise like always, just half way up. Is there a way to reset the switch limits or reset the gear? Any help greatly appreciated.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I read one time that when widows get out of sync ... open both at the same time and continuously hold the open buttons for a couple of seconds after they both hit bottom.
This procedure has re-synked mine in the past ... but they were only say 1/2” out of sync. Not 1 foot.
Good luck!

I am thinking about a pressure sensor mechanism that stops the circuit. like a baby head in the way of the auto window.
