R129 SL 280 ROOF CONTROL MODULE
HI Guys,
Hope some one is able to advise me with this one.
I am having to replace my soft top roof control module. The module failed with the soft top down and it was then closed manually. If I now replace the control module (with the roof still in the closed position) will the system recognise it and start working normally or are there some "resets" to contend with and sort out.

A replacement module should work fine unless it has a stored fault code which inhibits roof operation. If that is the case, then the code simply must be erased.
