Replacing Low Beam Bulb on 97 SL500
Hi all,
My low beam bulb on the driver side is burned out on my 1997 SL500 and I am trying to replace it. I am very confused as to how to remove the old bulb from the housing and put in the new bulb. My owners manual depicts an assembly that is very different than what mine actually looks like and I am unable to find anything about the replacement online. Attached below is a picture of what the bulb housing looks like. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. Somebody has retrofitted xenon lights and your manual does not know much about future technology :-)
You need to turn the metal ring to release the lamp.
Cheers, Frank
