Hello,
This is my first time posting, although a long time lurker.
So the plastic windows are fading in the SL and its becoming dangerous to drive at night or in rain as you cant see trough them, check blind spot etc. The cloth itself is in good shape.

1. I found the ebay vendor from Vegas that sells replacement window units, however I don't have the skill set to replace them myself.
2. From what i found on youtube the replacement procedure for the soft top looks like its above my skill level.
3. I cant seem to find a shop in Ontario that has ever replaced a soft top in a r129.


Can someone recommend a place that has experience with our cars?

The business I used in Kansas for half a century, closed. Death seems to conclude the business! I have asked several other seat shops but no one wants to mess with the small projects.
It is sad.
Hope you find a "risk taker" who will move toward the service model for you!
