SL/R129: Hydraulic fluid leak from visor area

Hydraulic fluid leak from visor area
Can anyone tell me how to repair the fluid leak at the top of the windshield on my SL500? I'm under the impression that its caused by leaking cylinders. I don't even know how to get to them. Thanks for whatever help you can give me.

I'd invest $300 in a Chinese-cloned Star Diagnosis System (SDS) which replicates the resources available to a Mercedes dealer tech. It will include Mercedes' "Workshop Information System" (WIS) -- a software application with all the information you need to remove those leaking cylinders.
Once the cylinders are removed, spend c. $100 with TopHydraulics.com to have them resealed, or purchase the seals and do the 45-minute job yourself.

Not difficult to do but it won't correct on its own.
Top Hydraulics on the Oregon coast has been the source for rebuilt cylinders. The site has a detail removal and shipping instructions when I have used their service ( 3 vehicles )
Klaus Witt provides a great service in a timeline that has worked for me.
When the front top cylinder oiled by seats and linen pants I replaced all 12 cylinders. the age time heat thing is about a 15 year run in my experience ( as are the suspension sphere replacement )

Hycdraulic Cylinders replace front latches
I used TopHydraulics( have no financial interest,etc.) when I had R129s-
I replaced both cylinders in the top but not all-- couple of others very difficult for me to do.
