SL/R129: Need help with 91 SL300

Need help with 91 SL300
We have an old 91 SL300. We are having problems with this car since the time we bought it new in 91. Anyways, I was wonder if anyone here can recommend a Mercedes specialist in the San Bernadino, CA area that can fix these problems?
We have taken to various Mercedes Dealers through the 11 years of this car, but every time something seems to get fix, it comes back and haunt us after 3-4 months.
Our check engine light is more lid than our empty gas indicator! And the top never operate correctly.
Any help would be appreciated.
