95 sl320 r129.front hydraulic cylinder leaks repair
I plan to repair the front hydraulic cylinders which are leaking and I want to know if there's any precautions or tips on how to do it properly. I've been reading some threads in the forum saying having problems with the soft top operations after repairing the front cylinders. Some even talking about resetting the codes. I thought you only need to repair the cylinders to fix the leaks and problem solved. What's with theae other issues? Please advise. Thanks.

Top Hydraulics has a good DIY page on this. I would take them off and send them in the brackets for rebuild. When they come back, just bolt on and plug in the lines, nothing extra should be needed.
