R129 ignition problem (1990)
I replaced the ignition switch on my R129, now the key does not turn far enough to start the engine, whilst in the housing. Is it possible the switch is incorrectly positioned within the housing?

I've had a 500SL in storage for five years. When I attempted to start it the key wouldn't turn at all. How far can yours turn?
