Sunvisors....
I've got a beautiful 02 that I'm trying to make as perfect as possible. The passenger sunvisor is perfect, but the driver's mirror cover is off. I have all the parts. Yes, I know, typical.
Did I read that someone is repairing these or offering some type of help in doing so? I have found one nearly one on Ebay, but as you know, parts for these cars are becoming more difficult by the month.
Suggestions or did I dream this? Thanks....

A picture would help.
I simply replaced my mirrors and couldn't be bothered to figure out if the plastic cover could be re-attached without it's operation being affected.

Seven Out....
Yes you can. But at this point they are all black, which means you have to paint/dye it to match, and fight with the visor to get it back in the opening (not as easy as it sounds). Also, the insert alone is nearly $200, so....
BTW, my dealer says that MB does have a new visor in stock, ready to go, at one of the parts depots. It is...wait for it....$632 retail. For a cheaply constructed sunvisor.
What a pain.
