I restored my Silver Arrow wood trim console to as good as factory
Hello, everyone. I just completed restoring my Silver Arrow wood console with absolutely great success. It took awhile, but was well worth it in the end, and I am beyond satisfied as it exceeded my expectations. When I say restoring, I mean getting rid of all the hairline scratches and dullness/cloudiness that accumulated over the last 18 or 19 years. It did NOT look pretty at all. Im sure you’ve seen your wood console under a certain light that exposes all those imperfections and it’s not pretty; I hated it. As long as your console or wood trim does not have cracks, breaks, or deep scratches, it can be made as good as new again with a few simple products. I will attach pictures of my finishes product and you can feel free to reach out to me if you would like me to restore yours for a rate that is much, much better than I’ve see anywhere online and I’ll do a better job and be more careful as I’m beyond **** about these things. I found myself just enjoying doing this, so I thought I’d offer my services to forum members as well. I am just a simple Mercedes R129 silver arrow owner (my dream car forever), who enjoys little SL projects and I noticed that I am good at this particular task. I am sure this can be done by others, but it’s a very tedious process that takes a long time if you want to make sure it comes out great, and many people don’t have the time to do it properly. Reach out for pricing and I’ll be more than happy to answer any questions. You would have to ship me your wood trim/parts that need attention, and upon completion, I would ship it back to you. Thank you and stay safe out there.
Regards,

Hello, I have just acquired a 2002 SL500 Silver Arrow. The wood around the console is dark brown, the roll up cover and the piece going up the dash is the black maple that is supposed to be there. All are in good shape. Can you refinish the console wood to match--ball park price and time frame please. Thanks, Jerry
