FOR SALE: 1990 Mercedes 300SL 2 Tops! 5 speed stick! Good Cond! CA Car! PICS!
This car is a rare 5 speed manual transmission model, and from what I am told, there were only 400 of these produced with this body style. This is a nice California car with no rust and original paint. It has been well cared for all of it's life, I am the third owner, never smoked in, has been garaged kept, never in an accident, has a clean title, includes a clean CARFAX report, and owner's manual. 175K miles. $10,500 firm. The 18 inch AMG wheels are not included in this price, but are available. The car will come with the original 16 inch factory alloy wheels pictured in the last picture. Please email for more info. bxtech@excite.com Thanks.

Nice looking car. Looks to be well maintained. Any top down pictures? Any soft top up pictures? Those would help to generate interest.
What type of 0 to 60 times do you get with the 300SL? Are there mods for such a car to bring up the HP and Torque?
Not for me ... I've got one .
But more for the younger crowd who would be interested in such a fine car.
What has the maintenance been like up in the 175,000 mile range? What type of driving to get that level of mileage? Lots of long distance hyway miles?

500 SL
I have a 1996 SL500 and would be intereted in the 18 inch AMG wheels. Where in California are you located? And how much are you asking?
BTW - Everything on my SL500 is stock, is there anything to be concerned about in going to larger wheels? Assuming fit is fine, are all Mercedes wheels compatable?
