I am in the UK and am planning to buy some Xenon headlights from Germany.
I know they will bolt in but will the lighting area be the same or are they set for a LHD car? Is the lighting beam adjustable or will i need to buy a RHD xenons as i don't want t blind oncoming drivers.

You should buy RHD HIDs. However, some projector lights have an adjustment to "flatten" the beam pattern to make them acceptable (but not optimal) for use on the opposite side. I am not sure if the R129 projectors have this, though.

Ive wondered something just recently, It seems in Japan all the luxury and exotic cars are LHD, since its a RHD country what is it that they do to correct the beam?

In theory it comes down the reflectors inside the assembly. I dont recall seeing such a part as a spare. I would say on balance that it would be very difficult to align.
