I have Mercedes 500 SL Model 1991. as per the technician checking, he said there is a Jam in the Key Latch. I ordered used one from eBay, and the seller confirmed with me after I shared with him the Part Number that It will work,
My question please, What do you advice me to do? Shall I send it to the car technician in the garage or key shop? Generally, Is there a possibility the key lock will work perfectly and the Green / Red flashing indicator will be work without complication?
Please share with me all your personal experience and suggestions in this matter.

Part number for the Latch is: A 129 720 01 35
Before I send the car to the technician, the door was working fine using the Remote key to open and close. In addition, it was working fine to open using the manual. But I was not able to CLOSE the door using the Remote and the manual key.
After I sent it to the technician, he opened the cover and removed the Latch, he said there is Latch assembly jam but key Barrel is OK.
After he returned the Latch, now nothing is working at all.l from the driver door only. Even there was green and red indicator light before on the door handle, but now there is not.
I feel instead he tried to fix, he damaged and became worst.
My original Latch This is the one I bought from ebay.
From your good knowledge and experience, Is it possible to fix my door latch and it will work perfectly? Today I called another garage, He told me bring the car with the new Latch and we will fix for you.
I am confused now, Whether to send it to the garage or to the Key Shop.
Kindly advice me what to do. I love my car so much and I don't want headache.
