Ac lines

Anyone ever had this ac line blow up and need replacing? Did you do it, easy to find the part or am I looking at a custom make piece?

IMHO, you will be far better off if you remove the old line and take it to a good hydraulic shop and have them replace the rubber hose with new U.S. manufacture A/C hose. Be sure and trace out the physical orientations of all the fittings. LOTS of photos are very helpful. MBZ rubber stuff is all junk IMHO.

What I was thinking was I'd treat it like my old racing buddies would and put some good heat shielding over the rubber portion. I mean if this piece lasted 22+ yrs, I think that should cover what I need.
