Hello, hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. New r129 owner here. I took the seat bottom out of the car to clean under it, and many of these "nuts" rolled out of the bottom section under the pad. I have no idea what they are, are these another one of those MB bio-degradable material stuff? haha. Also, the seat bottom material under the pad seems to be made out of grass-ish material, is that what it is?

Another Question: There is a horse-ish smell coming from the grille on the top side of the passenger footwell, it gets stronger after driving hard......... Do you guys have any idea what that might be coming from? The air coming from the vent smells perfectly normal.

Congrats on the car and welcome. You may have some sort of infestation: rats, mice, squirrels.....some other visitor/resident

@peterlin1995 They are nuts, indeed. Chewed by a rodent, at that. How long have you owned the vehicle? What service records do you have? What is the story on how and where you found it?

Horse smell is not normal. Agree that vermin were or are in the vehicle. There are solutions to vermin.

Gas the interior to drive away or kill pests, ozone to purify the interior, then hunt for nests, clean out, then ozone again if needed
