Mapping engine following exhaust replacement

Hi all

Im writing for a friend who has a 300 SL of 1993 I believe. He replaced the cats to racing ones and already they have seem to deteriorate by the MOT numbers reckonening at least. I would like to help him get ideas for mapping the engine and fuel to the new exhaust system. As well as the head gasket job that recently was done.

His engine has no MAF so not sure how fuel delivery is regulated. Can anyone share best practice for this engine concerning this? Anyone knows any specialist in Sweden that can map these SL engines for best peformance and fuel economy?

Even after the exhaust replacement and head gasket job no real noticable power difference was felt. So my feeling is there is more power to be had if the engine tuning is made right.

Thanks for reading my long post. :-)

Best regards
Daniel
