casette tray replacement
Hi,
Does anyone know of a an oem or aftermarket replacement for the popup cassette tray that is useless with a cd player in my 94 SL600?

OEM storage bin?
Hi,
Three Mercedes dealers here say the only thing to replace with is a cup holder as in the 98 on up models for about $225.00 and the entire console has to be disassembled..
Can you give me any more details on the storage box?

MBWorld Fanatic!
I replaced the cassette holder with an empty bin to install a mobile phone. Cost was less than $30 but you do need to remove the upper console before you can remove the lower console to replace it.

I bought it at the MB dealer. I believe at MB it is called a "glove tray". It is part #129-680-09-91 and it cost $36.00. I pulled out the cassette holders and then just pushed the unit into the open space.
