SL500 roof not coming down

I've got a problem with the roof on my SL500. If i manually put the roof down, I can put it back up with the button. But when I try to put the roof back down it seems to get stuck at the unlocking the rear latches. If I manually unlatch the rear, they relatch them selfs when I press the button again.

The rollbar and windows go down when I press the button and you can see the rear of the roof getting pulled down but nothing else happens.

I had to replace the battery, so there was heaps of codes. I have cleared all the codes and there have been no more codes logged.

I filmed it to make more sence:

Any help would be great.

Clear the codes and hold the switch all through the process. If that doesn't work then we'll know you have an issue

I have managed to fix the problem, so thought i'd post it up for the next person that has the same problem.

In the end it was pretty simple, the drivers side microswitch for the fully locked position was faulty and was always open circuit. I tested by unplugging the switches in the boot and comparing left and right through the movment range. I cleaned the faulty switch up and it's all working fine now.
