SL/R129: Water leaking underneath

Water leaking underneath
Hi,
I have a new to me 99 500. Loving it.
Just got license plates, have not had time yet to lift it and get familiar with what's underneath the car. Usually I do that with all new toys.
Are there any drains for ac or rain water under the car, specifically behind that one cross member right behind the oil pan?
After taking it for a first drive today, i parked it and noticed water dripping underneath. It did not rain.
water is clean, no smell. Since that member is in the way i was not able to see exactly where the water is coming from.
I washed the car yesterday but didn't see any leaks until after the drive today. Interior appears to be dry.
Ac was not on during my drive, just heat.
Hoping to get familiar with car soon once works slows down, I'd usually not post about something like this.

I believe There is an AC vent underneath in that area. They tend to get clogged. The fact that yours is still draining is probably a good thing.
I would confirm to make sure. Just see if the water is still draining if you don’t use the AC.

Ac was my first thought yesterday but again, i didn't have it on. Was just curious because it was quite a bit of water (at least a cup and still dripping 30mins later).
I'll raise the car one of these days and have a look where exactly it may have come from.
