Re-Syncing | Diagnosing Single Button Key with Mirror IR (1996)
I've searched up and down and can't find much information about this here. I've tried to re-sync the remote by pointing at the receiver and pressing the button 2 times then (within 30 seconds), key in the ignition to position 2. Still... nothing. The remotes are both working as I've tested them with my phone camera to see the IR light.
Any ideas from someone that has possibly dealt with this issue.

The red and green lights on the mirror work ? Can you start the car and drive ? Maybe batteries to weak ?
Did both keys work before ?
You're very lucky having two remote keys, they're worth gold.
My one remote broke and no longer available.

Did you work on the mirror, maybe wire issue ?
MB service told me two weeks ago NLA. I have tried for years.
How did you find out about the keys ?
MB Stuttgart was no help.
