Trying to decide to either replace the defective shifter unit entirely, or to tackle replacement of the plastic locking tab. Cost issue would suggest that the tab replacement would be the better choice, but would be a nightmare to handle.
Replacement time, however would dictate that replacing the unit would guarantee that all internal parts would be new quality, and provide worry free miles.
Suggestions ?
