My 94 SL won't start
I posted this in the tech section but haven't gotten a response so here goes.
I have a 94 SL 500. This past weekend I broke the electronic center rear view mirrior in my car. It was hanging by the electric wire that controls the motor I believe. Well I got the great idea to cut the wire since the mirror was bothering me that it was bouncing around while driving. As soon as I cut it the car started to make a beeping sound. I shut the car off and now it won't start and it continues to beep. Is there a fuse I can pull out till my new mirror gets installed or am I screwed?
Today, I connected all the wires and got the center mirror to work now. Only problem is that the car still doesn't start. I disconnected the battery and even jumped it. Still doesn't start! Is there a way to reset the ECU on the car? When I turn the key all the lights start up like usual but the motor doesn't turn. Is there a trick to the factory security system?

Try locking and then unlocking the car with your key remote. Then start it
