It can't be re-glued because the fabric shrinks over time (so it won't fit) and the foam in-between layer needs replacing.

Some folks replace their headliners with material they get at a fabric store, but I got mine replaced with another MB headliner from a place in Orlando with stuff like this:

https://www.headlinerexpress.com/imp...top-headliner/

But they are out of gray, so try these guys:

If the price is too steep for the factory replacement style, you can do a search on the folks that did their own at the fabric store.

By doing it by yourself? 30 USD for the glue, 30 USD for the headliner (Ebay), a knife, a brush, some time.

I had an upholstery shop to do it. I think the price is about $250 to $300

Ditto! Material and labor was 260.00 USD. The old material was shrinking and had come unglued at the windscreen. The new material is almost a perfect match both in texture and color. Very pleased!
