SL/R129: No juice to the compressor

No juice to the compressor
Howdy All,
I just had a new compressor and air dryer put on my 91 500SL. My mechanic has been working on this car for years and knows the car well. He found that he can't get power to the compressor. The compressor works fine when he supplies external juice to it. He didn't check the old one for power because we both knew the seals in it were gone and he charged it summer of 2019 and it worked. We both suspect the AC relay shown on multiple sites as a KLIMA relay, but we can't find the darn thing. Anybody know where it is? Anybody know of any other reason why the compressor wouldn't get power? Thanks All!
